With school out, the outdoor sports season is in full swing,so it's important to remember safety. Athletic mouthgaurds are an important part of a good safety regiment. First they do help protect the teeth, but did you know that their most important function is helping to protect against a concussion? By keepin the teeth apart, the jaw joint is positioned down and forward keeping it away from a delicate part of your scull, near the brain.
Should the gaurd get too thin, its function is compromised. Please feel free to bring in your gaurds to us to be evaluated. Custom gaurds can be made with your favorite team colors! (Very cool!)
